Please take a moment to prayerfully consider serving in one or more of the ministry opportunities listed below.

Missions and Benevolence - Guides our congregation in outreach to local, regional and worldwide mission and benevolent causes. This team meets monthly following a worship service.

Children - Guides our children's church, Sunday school, children's choir, nursery, and special events for kids. This team meets for training in September and once or twice the rest of the year.

Finance - Reviews the financial health of the congregation. Prepares the annual budget, the financial drive, and monitors the day to day incoming expenditures. This team meets 5-7 times/year.

Social and Fellowship - Plans the social calendar, including potluck dinners, activities of the month, tours, picnics and other special events. This team meets once in the fall and once in the spring.

Music - Helps the Pastor select and lead music for Sunday morning. Plans social events for the choir members. This team meets every other month.

Evangelism and Publicity - Explores ways to publicize AIPC to the surrounding community. Also, guides the congregation to think evangelistically and bring people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a new ministry team and meeting patterns have not been established.

Manse - Oversees the home of the Pastor and gives input to new furniture items, upkeep, and other needs of the Manse. This team meets as needed.

Youth - Helps guide the Middle School and Senior High Youth programs and activities during the school year. Will meet 5-6 times a school year.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE OPPORTUNITIES

Lead a Small Group in Your Home - I am willing to host a small group of believers in my home for fellowship, study, prayer and support.

Prayer Chain - I would like to have my name on the prayer chain and receive prayer requests by email or phone.

Newcomers Support - Willing to offer support to a new family or individual in our congregation.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

Sunday School Teacher - Teach each Sunday morning 9:30 - 10:20, with many Sundays free due to school holidays.

Children's Teacher

Youth Teacher

Adult Teacher

Substitute for any group

Children's Church Leader - Teach one Sunday morning each month, from mid August - June, during the worship service. All leaders are trained in September.

Young Kids - 3, 4, and 5 year olds

Old Kids - 6, 7, 8 and 9 year olds

ADMINISTRATIVE OPPORTUNITIES

Serve on the Church Board.

The Board typically meets 10 times/year including a day long planning retreat in the spring.

Secretarial Work - Helping Pastor Steven with typing, filing, sorting and any office work needed -minimal and flexible hours.
